Bhutan Odyssey: Gateway To The Himalayas

Day 01: Arrival at Phuentsholing:- Meet and greet by a local representative of "Chutir Hawa" at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra IXB Airport. Transfer to Phuentsholing (Distance: 170 kms / Driving Time: 5 hrs). Check-in at the hotel and overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 02: Phuentsholing to Thimphu:- After breakfast, complete immigration formalities and proceed to Thimphu (Distance: 176 kms / Driving Time: 6 hrs). Check-in at the hotel and visit Tashichhoe Dzong (Outer view) in the evening. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 03: Thimphu Sightseeing:- Explore Kuensel Phodrang, Hindu Temple, and National Memorial Chorten in the morning. Afternoon visits include Takin Reserve Park, Simply Bhutan, and Bhutan Postal Museum. Visit Nunnery, BBS Tower, Folk and Heritage Museum, National Library, Centenary Farmer Market, and Craft Bazar in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 04: Thimphu to Punakha & Punakha Sightseeing:- Drive to Punakha (Distance: 77 kms / Driving Time: 3 hrs) after breakfast. Visit Dochu-La-Pass on the way and Punakha Dzong in the afternoon. Stop at Suspension Bridge before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 05: Punakha to Paro & Paro Sightseeing:- Drive to Paro after breakfast. Enroute visit Ta Dzong – National Museum. Visit Rinpung Dzong and Museum of Lights in the evening. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 06: Paro Sightseeing:- Today after a sumptuous breakfast, you will be free to choose one of the following options. Option 1: Hike to Taktsang Monastery in the morning.
Option 2: Visit Sangchen Chokor Monastery for Paro valley view and temple, followed by traditional dress try-on and shopping at the local market. Later return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 07: Departure to Siliguri:- After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Transfer to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station via Phuentsholing (Distance: 310 kms / Driving Time: 8 hrs) for return journey.
